on 14th May, central government raised the price of petrol by nearly Rs. 6. Now, common man was expecting raise in fares of auto rickshaws and taxies.
Considering public transport in Nashik, most of the people are dependent on Autos and Buses. Autos are generally fueled with petrol. CNG AUtos are very rare in Nashik. So, Auto fare raise was expexted but there is no centralized union for autos in Nashik. Therefore, this hike was not notified. Now, people are facing problems as Aut drivers are demanding for additional Rs. 3-4 in normal rates. Nashik follows share auto trend, so this has become headache for everyone.
