Well, every city has a laid-back, unknown, hidden food joint which always been serving great food to generations, “Sugras” is one such place. A family run eatery located inside a busy industrial zone of satpur, “Sugras” is known for their amazingly fresh seafood.

This place doesn’t have any ambiance as such, there are just chairs and granite tables. No printed menus, Just a whiteboard with the daily menu. They have Chicken/Mutton/Fish thalis and few à la carte fried dishes such as fish fry and chicken/mutton fry on the menu. Food at Sugras is cooked in a home-style and unlike other restaurants, no pre-made gravies used. Even most of the fried dishes are done in front of you after you place your order.

We usually order Mutton and Chicken thali along with few fish dishes. Fish are by far of the best quality you’ll get here in Nashik. Especially their Surmai & Bombil fry is to die for, it is done with very little spices and fish retains its flavor quite well after frying. Some people may find it bit oily but it’s worth those calories ;)

Mutton and Chicken thalis come with Chicken/Mutton masala, Rassa, Rice, and Chapatis. Their cooking style is CKP which a community found in coastal regions of Maharashtra such as Mumbai & Konkan. So both the dishes have a good amount of fresh coconut which balance out the spices pretty well and despite having a good amount of spices this doesn’t burn your palate.

They are open from 9 AM to 3 PM for lunch & Breakfast. and they only have a takeaway for dinner. This place is not an option if you’re looking for a very fine dine place but if you’re die-hard meat lover you surely can’t miss Sugras at all.

The place is very neat and clean and service is prompt. Price range is between 150-200 INR.
