‘TEDx Godapark’ is the first TEDx event to be conducted in Nashik. It will be conducted on 17th September 2017 at The Grand Ballroom, City Centre Mall, Nashik from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is a program of local, self-organized event that will bring people together to share a TED-like experience in our city. TED is a nonprofit devoted event for spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks (18 minutes or less). TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged and today covers almost all topics — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages.

The theme of the event ‘TEDxGodaPark’ is WINDS OF CHANGE, where speakers will spark deep discussions and connections through their TED Talks. It is a global community, welcoming people from every discipline and culture who seek a deeper understanding of the world. We believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world.

At TEDxGodaPark we showcase an electric mix of engaging thinkers and doers talking about concepts that are big, effective and powerful. The speakers are from diversified backgrounds that have something remarkable to share in a remarkable way. From latest technology and Cutting edge science to beautiful artwork and psychology, our speakers think grand. They predict and shape the future of technology in their own extraordinary ways. They create, innovate and implement ingenious solutions in technology, business, science, design, and arts. Our TEDx event also aims at giving a platform to Ideas that are impactful but didn’t have a stage to illustrate.

At our first TEDx event, we plan to have Explorers, storytellers, photographers, scientific pioneers, visionaries and provocateurs from our local community and other parts of the globe. Every Ted talk is recorded and streamlined on websites like www.ted.com, www.youtube.com, etc. for the world to see and become versed with these ideas. Every Ted speaker is given a worldwide recognition through these videos.  

We believe in creating a powerful and informed community dedicated to lifelong learning. We help world-changing innovators from around the globe to amplify the impact of their remarkable ideas. By conducting TEDx events, we wish to push our community towards a brighter future.
