About the Headliners
Famed English electronic-folk band Crystal Fighters who are known to lap ancient elements, to create music of the future and are renowned for their unique music style, will be one of the headlining acts at the festival. Having performed at some of the most prestigious festivals in the world, the band will head to Nashik for SulaFest this February!
Following suit is another headlining act – the multiple award-winning, Parov Stelar aka the founder of genre- ‘Electro Swing’ who has previously collaborated with some of the most popular names in the music world including, Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Marvin Gaye, Lana Del Rey, AronChupa and many more! After breaking into the music industry post his first release, Stelar also made an immediate breakthrough in the international electronic music scene and will now be seen at the fest, weaving his musical magic.
Next in line is the British band THE BEAT Feat. RANKING ROGER who are celebrated for their musical diversity like no other. Now, the band that shared their music with movies such as Kingpins and Hot Tub Time Machine and got Pearl Jam covering their song ‘Save It For Later’ will make their way to the vineyards for the music extravaganza too!
More headlining acts at the festivals will include the five-piece ‘vocal groove collective’ – Bauchklang from Austria who are known for their expert beatbox skills and the Balkan, Swing and Ska band Gypsy Hill!
Unique in every sense, Bauchklang plays a mix of human beatboxing, mouth percussions and vocal sounds to create sounds you have never heard before! The five piece band is renowned for building bridges over and between genres, covering a musical landscape stretching from electro over minimal, down beat, hip hop, techno and more, using only their voices on the way! Breaking boundaries of any of the world-wide, underground, or popular genres and standing alone in an undefined region of modern music, Bauchklang is sure to ramp up energy and entertainment levels at the SulaFest with their skillset!
Last but not the least, is Gypsy Hill – a band that plays an intoxicating mix of Balkan brass, Mediterranean surf rock, ska & swing. Featuring guitars, horns, tuba, a scratch DJ and a mix of live and electronic beats, Gypsy Hill effortlessly mixes the traditional with a uniquely modern sound to create some truly groovy music. Having previously performed at the biggest festivals across the UK and the US, they are no strangers to big stages! The band has played alongside some of the greats including Taraf De Haidouks and are certain to make an impression at SulaFest this edition!
