We recently had one of our first foodies meet to build an active community of food enthusiasts around Nashik and “Utsav Fine Dine” gladly hosted all of us last the weekend. The reason to had this kind of meet is to encourage people (read foodies) to share their views, opinions and feedbacks about multiple restaurants, dishes we get here in Nashik, As all of us know Nashik’s food culture is still evolving and dominated mostly by very few cuisines such as Misal Pav (:P).

In our discussion for the night, we exchanged lot’s of insights, updates about new places and common problems around dining scene in Nashik. We’re planning to have this kinds of meet quite often to help grow and build a conscious community of food enthusiasts. So stay tuned for more updates.

For the dinner at Utsav restaurant we had a good feast. Since Utsav is pure veg place, We had  Pahadi tikka, Sizzlers, Nariyal Sabji and Biryani.  Out of which I liked Pahadi Paneer tikka a lot. It was very well marinated and grilled. Since our menu was predefined we are planning to taste few others preparations in our coming visits.

This was indeed a great experience with wonderful people, good food and warm hosts. And we’re looking forward to have such kind of meets in future.
