November 17, 2013 Sula Vineyards, It was a beautiful, chilly morning as the runners were flagged off for the 21K & 10K. There were 30 volunteers from local school, Gold’s Gym and Sula Vineyards who handed out 700 liters of water, 600 bananas and 600 glucose biscuits were served on the run course & finish line. The sponsors were thrilled with the turnout. Executives from ZENdurance & race participants commented ‘It is a beautiful venue and a tough, but fun run course.

The race flagged off at 6:30am for 21K & 6:50am for 10K runners. The fast runners arrived between 40-minutes to 56-minutes for 10K and 1-hour, 26-minutes to 1-hour, 50-minutes for the 21K. Following the run, ZENdurance distributed 1st, 2nd& 3rd place prices for Men & Women in various categories.

The venue was filled with approximately 300 spectators. We appreciate the commitment and passion of the Nashik running community. ZENdurance is thrilled with the response and are looking forward to returning to Nashik for other events.
The organizers wish to thank all the volunteers who helped support the runners along the Gangapur Dam run course. Their enthusiasm definitely provided the runners with energy to make it to the finish line. Finally, we want to commend the school children and their parents for cleaning up their water station. On the final round to ensure we had collected everything, ZENdurance noticed that the Nashik volunteers (especially the school children) had done a marvellous job of cleaning up.

Due to the overwhelming support and demand for professionally organized events, ZENdurance is proud to announce that Nashik Spirit Run will be back in December 2014. So start planning for another great event.
