Hotel Samrat established in beginning of 80’s is a landmark in Nashik food culture as they are Pioneer in serving “Gujarati Thali ” in Nashik city.Along with Thali they are first in the city to start serving Chinese food and Sizzler’s as well.Located in the heart of city CBS (Central Bus Station) , the place is really easy to find.

The Signature offering of Samrat is their “Unlimited Gujarati Thali”. Filled with an array of vegetable preparations, dal, kadhi, assorted Indian breads (Rotis) and bunch of side dishes it is full packed dose of Gujarati culture. Vegetables in the Thali keep rotating every day for variation in taste however few remains same . They even have a Farsan which keeps changing everyday except for Sunday, when they serve Delicious Dahi-Wada which has remain unchanged since the last 30 years.

You can pair up Fulka & Rotla/Biscuit Bhakri with Vegetables where “Kadhi” and “Dal” can ideally be blended perfectly with Steamed-Rice and Khichadi respectively.During your meal you can enjoy numerous side dishes like papad,salad and different chutney’s.And while you’re busy with eating , servers will make sure that supply of all the dishes should remain in flow so you don’t need to wait. There are very minimal spices which are used in Gujarati cooking unlike other Indian regions hence food is very well for all palates.

If you’re not up to such heavy meal you can opt out for Chinese or Limited-Thali.Limited Thali Menu contains 2 Vegetables out of which 1 is Dry-Preparation , Dal , 4 Phulkas , Steam Rice & Papad. Being a Pure Veg Restaurant they serve only Veg Chinese out of which we tried out “Paneer Mumtaz” a Paneer-starter added with Chinese spices.But we strongly advise You to try their Unlimited Thali if you’re visiting them for first time.

Ambience is normal and well suited for family dining place, hygienic with staff totally well spoken and attentive.Even Their expertise and chefs are same from three decades for their thali and you can sense it by tasting their food.All of this makes samrat a place for you veg cravings.
