48th annual State Kho Kho Championship has been started on 8th May in Nashik. All the matches are placed on the Chhatrapati Shivaji Stadium. All he district teams have participated in this mega event.
The mega opening ceremony was done before starting the games. Mr. Vasant Gite, Mr. Uttamrao Dhikale , Mr. Nitin Bhosale (Invitee President), Bhishmraj Baam and many other authorities were present for the ceremony. Parade consisting of 700 players was held on this occasion.
On the first day, Nashik, Dhule, Sangli, Ahamadnagar,Pune, Mumbai, Thane won their first match and headed to the next round.
