Ghat Sthapna marks the beginning of one of the most awaited festival of the year called as ‘Navaratra’. The 10 day festive season has always been celebrated with great enthusiasm and energy. With the beginning of Navaratra, the temperament of the people all around has changed. The city has transformed into a joyful state with the essence of devotion. The great and most loved ‘Dandiya’ will witness the end of the festival by ‘Dasherah’. All the arrangements are seen around the famous temple of Goddess located in the heart of the city. The rides, food stalls, Toy Shops, etc are loved by the people. These stalls and rides serve the means of livelihood for some and also are a part of our culture and rich heritage. The Dandiya can be regarded as the most interesting part of the festival. The famous Indian dance form performed during this season is observed throughout the country. In Nashik also the so called Dandiya can be observed at every corner. The famous to name are Nandanvan Lawns, Nivek, City Centre Mall and Chopda Lawns. The arrangements are done with respect to Security, Parking, etc for Dandiya as fell the Fair and the places around.
